How It Works

Submit Your Request

Begin by filling out the online intake form with basic information about your horse and the purpose of the appraisal (e.g., insurance, legal, donation, sale). This helps determine whether a virtual assessment will suffice or if an on-site inspection is recommended.

Initial Consultation

We’ll schedule a phone call to review your goals, timeline, and available documentation.
If an on-site inspection is not needed, we’ll clearly outline the required photographs, videos, and supporting records needed to complete a remote evaluation.

If an on-site visit is required, we’ll discuss scheduling and travel fees during the call.

Quote & Payment

A 50% deposit is due before any work begins. If an on-site inspection is required, the base travel fee is also due upfront. Any additional mileage incurred will be calculated and added to your final invoice. Once payment is received, your file will be added to the project queue.

Appraisal Research & Report Preparation

Using the information provided and certified appraisal methodology, I will perform in-depth market research and comparables analysis. For formal reports, this includes a written USPAP-compliant document. For sale price support, you’ll receive a pricing summary with a suggested range and  market comparables.

Final Payment & Delivery

Once the report or pricing summary is complete, you will be notified for the remaining 50% balance (plus any mileage adjustments, if applicable). Upon payment, your final appraisal will be delivered via email in PDF format, or printed and mailed upon request.
