Certified Equine Appraisal (Full Report)

Pricing is determined by scope of work; fees refelect time, research, and analysis needed to complete your report. 

A formal, USPAP-compliant report prepared in accordance with the methodologies and professional standards of the American Society of Equine Appraisers. This type of appraisal is suitable for insurance, legal, financial, and estate-related use.

  • Includes consultation, document review, and a certified written report

  • Additional horses: +$150 per horse

  • Complex cases (e.g., litigation, extensive records): subject to additional hourly fee

Sale Price Support / Market Analysis

Flat Fee: $125

Designed for owners who want help pricing a horse accurately before listing it for sale, without the need for a formal report.

  • Includes 1–2 hours of research on comparable sales

  • Drafted price range & listing recommendations

Travel & On-Site Inspection Fees

$75 minimum travel fee

​If a virtual assessment isn’t sufficient, an on-site visit may be recommended.​

  • Additional mileage: $0.65 per mile round-trip outside of Baldwin County, AL

  • Travel over 100 miles may require accommodation arrangements. 

Rush Requests

$150-$250 fee

Need your report quickly? Expedited service may be available:​

  • 3 - 5 business day turnaround: + $150 

  • 2 - 3 business day turnaround: + $250

  • Rush timeline subject to schedule availability

Payment Terms

To begin your appraisal, a 50% deposit is required before any work is initiated. Consultations are free. The remaining 50% balance will be due upon completion of your report. If an on-site inspection is required, a $75 travel fee must be paid prior to travel. Additional mileage beyond the base travel estimate will be calculated and added to your final balance. Detailed payment instructions will be provided after your consultation. Reports will be delivered electronically unless otherwise requested, and additional postage fees will apply.
